• After choosing a hunting area it takes you to a page where you can access the hunting areas site portal, area maps, as well as more information about the areas hunting game and bagging rules.

GOHUNT:

GOHUNT empowers hunters with the research tools, technology, gear, and resources they need to get the most out of their time in the field.”

• GOHUNT is an app that provides all the information that you will for hunting that categorizes based on what you want to hunt and what you will hunt with.

• You have to pay for this app but if you don’t mind paying for the subscription it is an overall great app.

• An easy way to find hunts to choose from based on what you want to hunt for.

Huntin’ Fool:

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service:

• The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service provides a lot of information about conservation.

• They also provide a “where to hunt” map that shows a handful of hunting areas throughout the nation.

• When you select the hunting area it gives you extra details, how big the area is in acres, and amenities.

• All the information on MeatEater is sourced from renowned hunters talking about their experiences, teaching you how to do things, and giving tips and tricks that you can try yourself.

onX Hunt:

• onX Hunt is used by hunters during their hunts to track where they are while hunting.

Hunter Ed:

We’ve worked with IHEA-USA, more than 45 state agencies responsible for providing hunter education resources, and various industry partners to develop comprehensive online hunter’s safety courses that teach students important laws and regulations, game identification, and safe, responsible firearm handling.

• Hunter Ed is the website that you use to get your hunting license.

•. You select your home state, sign up, make an account, and then you start studying to get ready for the final test.

• Once you complete this course you are ready to hunt and know the safe, ethical, and correct way to do it.

Department of Land and Natural Resources:

The Department of Land and Natural Resources, headed by an executive Board of Land and Natural Resources, is responsible for managing, administering, and exercising control over public lands, water resources, ocean waters, navigable streams, coastal areas (except commercial harbors), minerals, and all interests therein.”

•This is a government agency specifically for people who will hunt in Hawaii.

• Hawaii has its own unique hunting rules and regulations compared to any other state which is why the DLNR is important.

• On the DLNR website you will find information about hunting announcements, how to get a license, apply for hunts, and purchase tags and permits.
